About VLSC

Vancouver Lake Sailing Club is a family oriented sailing club whose purpose is to promote the sailing and racing of small, one-design sailboats. There are approximately 280 members who own a variety of small one-design sailboats including Lightnings, Fireballs, Finns, Lasers, Hobie Cats, and many other small boat designs.

VLSC has an extensive racing program. A number of race series are scheduled through-out the year including a Spring and Fall Sunday Series; a Spring, Summer, and Fall Tuesday Series; a long-distance series; and a Summer Single-handed Series.

Our PIYA Regatta is held annually the first weekend in June.

In addition to the best small boat racing waters in the greater Portland/Vancouver area, VLSC facilities include:

VLSC is governed by a Board of directors who are elected by the membership at its Annual Meeting in October of each year. Active members are eligible to serve as members of the Board.
