While Washington and Oregon are experiencing an extremely low snow pack this year, British Columbia has experienced a more normal snow year so water levels in the Columbia River and Vancouver Lake may experience water levels closer to a normal water year, even as local rivers and streams are likely to experience unprecedented low flows or actually run dry.
