Dear Members,

Once again, we are experiencing very low water levels in the Columbia River and Vancouver Lake. The current levels are projected to continue through the end of October. As a result, only those boats with a very shallow draft can be launched and sailed.

Based on the current water levels, the Sunday Fall races will be held using the club FJs that have been recently refurbished. They are fun boats to sail, the racing is very casual, and the Sunday series is a great way to 'dip your toe' into sailboat racing and learn why it's so attractive.
