The WA Dept of Fish and Wildlife along with Clark County have been conducting a vegetation survey the last few days at Vancouver Lake. They have been given permission to launch and park their airboats near the top of our boat ramp. I met with their staff yesterday and they are friendly and pleasant; but please bear in mind these folks, who are doing the "rubber hits the ground" work to improve the lake for us, are also working their job. Please be respectful of their property, space, and time. Many probably have lots of questions for them, me included, so let me know and I can pass them on, without staff having to repeat answers. If you have questions for staff or me, just let me know. They are grateful for VLSC's assistance and support, and are continuing their vegetation survey today, so the boats may spend another night at VLSC. Philip
