2023 Bloomin' Algae Laser Regatta

"This one-day Laser regatta is for all sailors who like breezy afternoon racing, with dinner afterwards, all on a beach budget. All Lasers sailors are invited to join us for some great lake sailing that's commercial-free!"
SCHEDULE:
Saturday, July 22nd, 2023
2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Registration & Check-in.
3:00 p.m. Competitor's Meeting.
4:00 p.m. Warning Signal -- 1st race.
About 8 p.m. Dinner at VLSC After Racing.
RULES: All races will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing and the Laser Class rules where applicable. Sailing Instructions will be provided at check-in. One race constitutes a regatta. Six races are scheduled. There will be one throw-out if six races are completed.
CLASSES: Three boats are required to form a class. The Regatta is open to all boats of the ILCA 7 (Laser Standard), ILCA 6 (Laser Radial, and ILCA 5 (Laser 4.7) classes. Trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in each class will be awarded. Additional awards may be awarded depending on competitor turnout.
